Golden Laurel of Innovation for the Zincpower project
The jury of the Stanisław Staszic Competition for the best innovative products "Laurel of Innovation 2020", chaired by the Vice President of FSNT-NOT, Dr. DSc, Eng. Tadeusz Pawłowski, awarded Laurels and Distinctions to 13 innovative projects in 7 competition categories.
This is the 10th anniversary edition of the hugely popular competition, which aims to promote innovative products, technologies, and services, as well as other innovative solutions, from virtually all fields of economy, science, and socially beneficial fields that contribute to, among other things, the economic development and competitiveness of the Polish economy.
In the "Materials Engineering" category, the Golden Laurel was awarded to: Łukasiewicz Research Network - Institute for Engineering of Polymer Materials and Dyes, the Road and Bridge Research Institute, Fraunhofer-IPA, and the Polish Corrosion Association for the project: A new generation of zinc-pigmented paints with improved anti-corrosion, functional, and ecological properties.
