The 17th Scientific and Technical Conference PRAKTIKOR STELL-CONCRETE '2024, organized by the Polish Corrosion Society, took place in Ruciane-Nida from April 17–19, 2024. This year's conference was the 514th event of the European Corrosion Federation (EFC), and its slogan was "It's Time for Innovation." The conference was attended by both scientists and industry, meaning that science "combined with practice over three days."

During the Conference, the Badges of the Great Corrosionist were awarded by PSK to people who in their professional lives were devoted to corrosion issues and in this respect significantly supported the activities of the association. The winner for 2023 is Leszek Komorowski.
