Two medals for BiBaCom at the iENA Fair in Nuremberg
The solution developed as part of the BiBaCom Project: "Bio-Based UV-Curable Anti-Corrosion Coatings for Metal Substrates" was awarded two medals at the iENA Trade Fair. The project is being implemented by the Polish Corrosion Society and the Łukasiewicz Institute for Engineering of Polymer Materials and Dyes, the Road and Bridge Research Institute, the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation, and the Research and Development Institute for Pigmentation and Lack e.V. (FPL).
The Gold Medal of the iENA 2025 Fair was awarded by the Jury appointed by the Fair.
The medal was also awarded by the National Research Council of Thailand.
The project's results will contribute to knowledge on: the synthesis and application criteria of new, biological adhesion promoters and new, appropriately modified anticorrosive pigments; the starting materials for improved, UV-curable anticorrosive paints and their production and curing parameters, as well as their corrosion resistance.
