Silver GIF medal and the Nicoli Tesla Special Award for the ZINCPOWER project
On May 14-15, the Global Invention Forum took place in in Limassol, Cyprus.
Silver GIF medal and the Special Award Nicoli Tesla from the Serbian Association of Inventors received the solution "A new generation of soils pigmented with modified zinc pigments with excellent resistance to mechanical and corrosive factors" developed by a consortium consisting of: Institute of Engineering of Polymer Materials and Dyes (IMPiB), Road and Bridge Research Institute (IBDiM) and Fraunhofer Institute of Production Engineering and Automation (IPA).
The authors of the solution are: Małgorzata Zubielewicz, Ewa Langer and Helena Kuczyńska (IMPiB), Agnieszka Królikowska and Leszek Komorowski (IBDIM), Matthias Wanner, Katarzyna Krawczyk, Lukas Aktas and Michael Hilt (IPA). The awarded solution is the result of the implementation of the international project CORNET / 22/1/2016 "A new generation of zinc soils with improved anti-corrosive, functional and ecological properties (ZincPower)" financed by the National Center for Research and Development (NCBiR).
